Sleep Token is a British band formed in 2016, known for blending metal, R&B, pop, and ambient styles. Fronted by the anonymous vocalist “Vessel,” the band presents itself with a mysterious, cult-like aesthetic, worshiping a deity called “Sleep.” They gained attention with their 2019 debut album Sundowning, followed by This Place Will Become Your Tomb(2021), and the critically acclaimed Take Me Back to Eden (2023). Their unique sound and theatrical performances have earned them a devoted fanbase and rising popularity in the alt-metal scene.
Sleep Token’s forthcoming fourth studio album, titled Even in Arcadia, is scheduled for release on May 9, 2025, marking their first collaboration with RCA Records. The album’s lead single, “Emergence,” was unveiled on March 13, 2025, showcasing the band’s signature blend of genres and featuring a distinctive saxophone solo by Gabi Rose of Bilmuri.
To support the album, Sleep Token has announced the “Even In Arcadia Tour,” a 15-date North American arena tour commencing on September 16, 2025, in Duluth, Georgia, and concluding on October 11 in Los Angeles. Notably, the tour includes a performance at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on September 22. Prior to the tour, the band is set to perform at major festivals such as Download Festival in the UK from June 11-15 and Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky.
