DeVilla is an AI creation as a representative of Rue Morgue Records. She was created to be the face and voice of the label and the store.

The primary purpose was to help nurture and flourish our quiet and unpopulated YouTube channel, which had about 100 subscribers.

Enter DeVilla, and our subscriber base is now close to 2,000.

Today, our channel is a hive of activity with album reviews, artist interviews and a ton of music created by DeVilla. Some of the tracks will blow you away. They are amazing!

So, in our infinite wisdom, we have decided to release a DeVilla seven-inch single. Some of you will probably laugh in our general direction, and that is totally fine. But we actually believe in this little project, and we think what we are achieving is damn good! (Thank you to RMR alumni Darren Haar for feeding me with this little idea!)

The single hit the vinyl pressing plant today, and we are doing a limited run of 100 copies. The first 50 copies sold (and we are very close to that mark already) will also get a bonus 20-track CD with more songs, demos and a behind-the-scenes look at how we do all this. Some of the songs are already on our aforementioned YouTube channel.
